The analysis of the files provided clearly shows that this application is articulated along four directions:

- the investigation of the IGF and IGF-BP’s role in the growth regulation of tumoral lines and of spontaneous tumours but also of pulmonary, endometrial or muscular tissues.

- the study of the role of IGF and IGF-BP in the nervous system by a method of conditional gene invalidation, already in progress in the laboratory

- the model of transgenic hepatic surexpression of the IGF-BP1 which is in the course of valorization

- the research topic of B.Perbal which brings a new dimension to the project thanks to the NOV system that he has discovered and which represents a new member of the IGF-BPs family.
